Automotive Parts Interpreter Job Description

As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling phone calls and bookings, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and check in customers upon arrival, be a friendly face they remember.
  • Phone Management: Handle large volumes of incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Booking Management: Manage customer bookings and workshop schedules using computer systems.
  • Quoting & Product Navigation: Learn about products and generate general quotes using online resources.
  • Digital Communication: Respond to customers via messaging platforms.
  • Administration Tasks: Process purchase orders, scan invoices, and maintain internal records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Well-spoken communicator who enjoys helping people.
  • Quick learner of new computer systems and processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in reception, customer service or admin roles (automotive or retail preferred but not essential).
