Job Title: After Hours Hospital Coordinator

Description:

This key leadership role requires a highly motivated Registered Nurse to provide after-hours leadership and management of the nursing team. The successful candidate will be part of a highly adaptable and collaborative team that thrives on professional growth and shared success.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, quality care is provided to patients, meeting current best practice standards
  • Support and liaise with Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments
  • Coordinate patient admissions, ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficiently
  • Oversee the safety of patients and hospital staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
  • Recent management experience at ANUM level or higher
  • Tertiary Qualification in a health-related discipline or management (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • People leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members
  • Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios
