Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Lighting to spearhead our team's visual effects capabilities. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving and supporting consistent workflows in your department, ensuring the right tools and technology are being utilized to deliver outstanding results.

You will be accountable for helping define these workflows and approaches to maximize efficiency across show teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and set standards for the Lighting Pipeline, empowering your team to create high-quality work in the most optimized manner.

You will engage in the creative process with a positive and supportive attitude, demonstrating excellent aesthetic judgment and the ability to anticipate potential challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support consistent workflows in the Lighting department
  • Help define and implement workflows and approaches to maximize efficiency
  • Design and set standards for the Lighting Pipeline
  • Engage in the creative process with a positive and supportive attitude
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of Lighting within visual effects for high-end film and television
  • At least 10 years experience in the VFX industry
  • Significant supervision and/or management experience in the VFX industry
  • Previous experience in line management
  • Extensive knowledge of rendering software such as Clarisse, Arnold, and/or Katana
