Procurement Specialist Position
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to manage our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating with suppliers and making strategic decisions.
Main Responsibilities- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and services.
- Oversee raw material sourcing and inventory management to optimize our supply chain.
- Develop effective cost reduction programs for materials and negotiate favorable contract terms.
- Evaluate department and supplier performance using key metrics.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in supply chain activities, preferably in manufacturing demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and ERP system maintenance.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Forecasting and demand analysis skills to inform procurement decisions.
- Experience with SAP/Oracle systems is highly desirable.
