Industrial Assembly Specialist Wanted

A renowned market leader in the industrial services sector seeks a highly skilled assembly expert to join their team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling and assembling complex industrial gearboxes, ensuring precision and accuracy in every step of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Disassembly and reassembly of industrial gearboxes, including bearing and gear assemblies.

- In-depth understanding of fits and tolerances, as well as the ability to use and read precision measuring equipment.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

- Basic machining skills, including the operation of lathe, turret mill, and surface grinder equipment.

- Preparation of reports on strip and assembly activities.

- Cleaning, preparing, and painting parts as required.

- Conducting load tests and laser shaft alignments.

Requirements:

- Trade certificate (Fitter and Machinist or Mechanical Fitter) is essential.

- Experience in the mechanical service industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

- Possession of a forklift/high-risk license is mandatory; overhead crane experience is desirable.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.

- A spotless safety record and ability to work well unsupervised within a small team environment are expected.

- Flexible working hours with potential overtime requirements must be accommodated.

- Adherence to high standards of housekeeping and organization is necessary.
