About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Care Coordinator to join our team at Respect Aged Care. This is a permanent Full-time position that offers a competitive salary and entitlements, as well as opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational matters of the social care program at our facility.
  • Work in conjunction with the General Manager to provide and direct social care programs that are responsive, enriching, and reflective of resident needs and requirements.
  • Lead and organize the social care team and volunteers.
  • Communicate with a diverse range of people, including residents, staff, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV Qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle or similar discipline.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Current Drivers License.
  • Proficient computer systems and information management skills.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest for working in aged care.
  • Well-developed customer service skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in the provision of complimentary therapies and recreational services.
  • Demonstrated experience in dementia care.
  • Experience in residential aged care.
  • Knowledge of and access to community groups and community support agencies.
