Strategic Procurement Manager for APAC Region

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our APAC Procurement Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of progressive sourcing strategies that deliver economic and cost efficiencies.
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You will work closely with the Global Procurement Team to identify and screen suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and drive improved supplier service levels.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing categories across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong understanding of category management principles. They will also have excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to analyze and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring procurement strategies, processes, and program executions are fully integrated to support internal budget business plans and Company objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders globally to leverage knowledge, relationships, and investments effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage categories across Australia and New Zealand
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that provide a competitive market advantage
- Negotiate supplier agreements that align with the interests of the Company and comply with policies
- Support the business with day-to-day Procurement activities
- Lead the adoption of our Procure-to-Pay (PP) system in Australia
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
- Familiar with Category management principles
- Experience managing Marketing spend (Media offline, Digital Media, Marketing print, Creative agencies) or IT spend is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively and influence
- Good analytic skills
- Experience in a global or highly matrixed organization is a plus

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
