About the Role

The Indirect Procurement Senior Specialist will lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that deliver economic and cost efficiencies, supply assurance, and quality across APAC.

This role will ensure procurement strategies, processes, and program executions are fully integrated to support internal budget business plans and Company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage categories across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Be the key point of contact for Global Procurement (Group) for your categories in APAC.
  • Negotiate local and regional contracts with Regional vendors.
  • Coordinate and support regional deployment and execution of Global contracts.
  • Develop regional categories, including identification and negotiation of all non-global contract related pricing opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that provide a competitive market advantage.
  • Develop and foster strategic supplier relationships that deliver cost reduction, supply assurance, quality improvement, and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders to be considered a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements that align with the interests of the Company and comply with policies.
  • Support the business with day-to-day Procurement activities.
  • Lead the adoption of our Procure-to-Pay (PP) system in Australia.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Category management principles.
  • Experience managing Marketing spend or IT spend is a plus.
  • Experience in negotiating and finalizing business terms and conditions for supplier contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively, and influence.
  • Good analytic skills.
  • Experience in a global or highly matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Curious and learning agility.
  • Self-starter, autonomous, energetic, and willing to leave a legacy.
  • Team player with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and lead numerous Procurement Initiatives and contract negotiations simultaneously.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel is required.
