Opportunity Overview

Ochre Medical Centre in Coonamble is seeking an experienced GP VMO to join their team for a 14-day locum opportunity. This is a great chance to experience the full gamut of medicine in a friendly community located 90 minutes from Dubbo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical services to the community, including ward rounds and GP consultations
  • Be on call for emergency presentations between 8am-6pm and on call evenings and weekends 1:2 for cat 1 & 2 only
About the Location

Coonamble is a rural town with a stable community, known for its sheep and cattle farming. The town has a charming main street with historic buildings and a relaxed atmosphere.

Requirements
  • Must be an experienced, vocationally registered ED/VMO doctor
  • Recent ED experience working in rural and remote communities
  • ALS2 is essential
