Outside School Hours Care Educator

We are seeking a passionate and keen educator to provide high-quality practices ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.

As an Outside School Hours Care Educator, you will interact with and effectively supervise the children while working as a team to deliver high-quality programs meeting agreed standards.

A key focus of this role is to acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs and interests of each child while inspiring a supportive culture of safety and safeguarding children in line with our values.

We commit to fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

This role plays a crucial part in directly influencing positive change in your community.

About You
  • No formal qualifications are required but Qualified Educators must hold a minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.
  • Study areas may include behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation and human welfare studies.
  • Experience working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector is desirable.
  • Ability to respond to the needs of children ensuring high quality fun meets agreed standards.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain.
  • In some services, hold a light rigid or medium rigid driver's licence eligible to obtain an RDA if undertaking Bus Driving duties.
