Communications Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work on an as-needed basis. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who struggle with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's needs.
- Provide therapy for patients with articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology.
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
