Job Description

A 2nd polo groom position is available at a large-scale cattle and grain producing farm in rural New South Wales, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise young and older horses as part of the 6-day working week during the tournament season
  • Maintain tack and equipment in pristine condition
  • Monitor and maintain paddocks and fences to ensure optimal equine care
  • Work closely with the head groom and owners to achieve exceptional results
Requirements:
  • Confident rider with experience handling horses
  • Polo experience not necessary, but ability to work independently essential
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and initiative when unsupervised
