About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on large-scale projects in the mining industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing structural solutions for various mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement structural solutions for mining projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Conduct load analysis, dynamic analysis, and stability analysis for various mining structures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications
  • At least 7 years' experience in the mining sector
  • Solid understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Expertise in structural design for materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
  • In-depth knowledge of foundation design, seismic engineering, and safety considerations
  • Strong understanding of load analysis, dynamic analysis, and stability analysis
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
