We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Haymes Paint. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and product solutions to customers
  • Process transactions and handle customer payments
  • Replenish stock, including 15L paint drums, to maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment
  • Assist with visual displays, store presentation, and housekeeping to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for customers
  • Inventory control, including goods receiving and stock taking, to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Comply with safe work practices and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic numeracy skills to process transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
  • Ability to lift 15L cans of paint and perform manual tasks
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
