Strategic Communications Expert

This role is ideal for someone early in their career looking to take the next step. You will work in our capital markets investor relations team, delivering high-quality outcomes for multiple client accounts across various sectors.

  • Deliver high-quality work within project teams under minimal supervision.
  • Support strategy and message development for clients on their engagement and implementation with various stakeholders.
  • Assist senior team members in developing new business initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to internal and client meetings.
  • Stay abreast of client issues and related industry trends.

As a Strategic Communications Expert, you will have the opportunity to extend beyond direct investor relations and capital markets work by working with our team of experts on Corporate & Public Affairs matters such as media and government relations, crisis management, and litigation support.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a corporate, media, or agency environment, with financial literacy and basic understanding of ASX and investment markets advantageous.
  • Strong academic performance, with a bachelor's degree in business/commerce, law, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience in social media is a plus.
  • Strong time and priority management skills and an ability to juggle multiple client accounts.
  • Ability to convey information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing across multiple disciplines.
  • Attention to detail and analytical approach, with an uncompromising attitude to quality.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently, take initiative, and set priorities.
