Job Title: Cafe Service Professional

A busy bayside cafe in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking a reliable and skilled professional to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality food and beverages to customers, ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and best practices.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with guests and promoting a positive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve business goals, driving success through teamwork and communication.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a fast-paced cafe or hospitality environment.
  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed to meet business demands.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Barista experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right candidate.
- Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required for qualified applicants.
