About This Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong leadership background in managing multiple projects concurrently. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing, controlling, and managing all aspects of the project including in-house engineering, procurement, construction, interfaces, administration functions, and external work undertaken by contractors and consultants throughout the design, supply, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring successful execution of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  2. Liaising with clients to develop a strong working relationship and communicate project progress regularly;
  3. Leading communication with the EPCM discipline engineering team to ensure effective project execution;
  4. Initiating, planning, launching, performance & control, and closing projects;
  5. Managing contracts, negotiations, and relationships with stakeholders;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;
  • At least 15 years of experience in an EPCM Oil & Gas engineering environment;
  • A strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in project planning and execution of FEED and Detailed Engineering phases;
  • Familiarity with technical specifications, Australian and international codes, and regulatory requirements;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
