Job Title: Fire Pump Service Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Pump Service Technician to fill this key position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspection and defect works for pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, and hose reels.
- Diagnostics and repairs of fire pump sets and panels.
- Able to conduct major repairs and/or rebuild of fire pump sets.
- Testing in accordance with AS 1851-2012 standards.
- Carry out required flow tests for Automatic sprinkler & Hydrant Systems.
- Report on system defects through our software (Training available).
- Assist other testing staff when required.
- Establish strong client relationships.
- Undertake training on other fire equipment testing if required.
- Attend call-outs as per rostered requirements, including after hours roster.
- Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate, compile, and submit necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
- Experience in the fire industry.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards.
- An electrical licence is preferred.
- A current White Card.
- EWP Licence.
- Able to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
