Job Title: Fire Pump Service Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Pump Service Technician to fill this key position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspection and defect works for pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, and hose reels.
  • Diagnostics and repairs of fire pump sets and panels.
  • Able to conduct major repairs and/or rebuild of fire pump sets.
  • Testing in accordance with AS 1851-2012 standards.
  • Carry out required flow tests for Automatic sprinkler & Hydrant Systems.
  • Report on system defects through our software (Training available).
  • Assist other testing staff when required.
  • Establish strong client relationships.
  • Undertake training on other fire equipment testing if required.
  • Attend call-outs as per rostered requirements, including after hours roster.
  • Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate, compile, and submit necessary paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the fire industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standards.
  • An electrical licence is preferred.
  • A current White Card.
  • EWP Licence.
  • Able to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
