Payroll Officer

Manage key payroll activities for a dynamic team in this role. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processes from beginning to end.

  • Process payroll calculations with precision, handling entitlements like overtime, leave, and terminations.
  • Reconcile payroll data and manage monthly payments seamlessly, including PAYG, superannuation, and taxes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely and accurate payroll results, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide clear and prompt responses to payroll queries, serving as the primary contact for payroll-related matters.
  • Support the team with expertise in payroll processes and policy knowledge, driving continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years' experience in full-function payroll roles, managing payroll for 800–2,000 employees.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Teamwork and mentorship skills, with a willingness to learn and communicate effectively.
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and work collaboratively.
