About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Specialist to join our team at Westhaven, a leading provider of disability support services in regional NSW.

As a Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live life to the fullest.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $33.41 per hour, plus casual loadings and shift loadings as per the SCHADS Award. In addition, we offer tax-free meal and entertainment card up to $2,650 per year, tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900 per year, and exclusive employee discounts for permanent staff members.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and daily living skills assistance to individuals across various age groups;
  • Planning and attending appointments and activities for social interaction and skill development;
  • Completing daily case notes, admin tasks, and incident reports.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive;
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate;
  • A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC);
  • A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDSWC);
  • Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR);
  • Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support highly regarded but not essential.
