About the Role

As a Disability Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our participants. If you're passionate about empowering individuals to realize their full potential, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • We're seeking experienced professionals who have worked within the disability industry, preferably with high medical needs, aged care, or individual support.
  • You will provide support with complex care and high physical needs, as well as personal care to persons with disability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will establish professional relationships with participants, healthcare professionals, and their families.
  • Flexibility is key, as you will work across a 7-day roster and may be required to work overnight shifts or attend training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support participants with high physical and challenging behaviors.
  • Provide personal care and maintain accurate records.
  • Execute designated tasks and activities aimed at meeting client needs, community support, empowerment, and program goals.
Mandatory Requirements
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Cert III in Disability Services.
  • NSW Driver's License.
