Pathology Collector Role

This role involves collecting blood and other specimens from patients, which is a critical component of the pathology process.

The ideal candidate will have experience in venepuncture and specimen collection, as well as proficiency in ECGs and Holter monitoring.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Venepuncture experience with vacutainer method essential
  • Collection of blood and other samples from patients
  • ECG and Holter monitor proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and participate in weekend roster
  • Clerical duties and paperwork processing
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Organisation and problem-solving abilities
  • Prioritization and working under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations
