Job Opportunity:

The Health & Safety Officer - Builder Developer position involves assisting in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans, providing training and practical WHS advice to staff and subcontractors, conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, building relationships across project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, leading incident investigations, and contributing to the closure of corrective actions.

  • A certification in Work Health & Safety is a mandatory requirement.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a HSE role on commercial or residential construction sites is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of current WHS legislation and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Prior experience on unit builds or large-scale commercial projects would be beneficial.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
