Job Overview

The Administration Officer will play a key role in supporting the operational team at the livestock markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and operate software systems to record and track livestock sales, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Update sale system software in real-time during sale days to provide accurate reports for stakeholders and staff members.
  • Maintain high-level skills in operating computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database management systems, and electronic document management systems.
  • Assist senior staff to implement and enforce legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for employees and contractors.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Highly developed administrative, organisational, written, and verbal communication skills and customer service expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in business-related computer software (Microsoft Office Applications) and electronic document management systems.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills particularly in regard to project management and operations.
  • Demonstrated skills and ability to relate effectively to a variety of clients offering a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
