We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our national team of clinicians providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and assessments to increase a person's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment with a national team of clinicians.

- Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing.
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered).
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable).
- A car and licence.
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement.
