About the Role:
SAL Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with complex individuals, systems, and organisations across Australia. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver person-centred services, working with a range of clients with various needs, from short-term involvement to complex, long-term needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting a range of psychological assessments to identify appropriate supports, interventions, and service models;
- Preparing, writing, and delivering psychological and other specific assessment reports;
- Providing client-centred therapy and direct treatments;
- Providing behaviour support for children and adults with complex disability and psycho-social support needs, complex mental health issues, and trauma-based presentations;
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
- Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
- Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
- Experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and/or other relevant sectors.
