Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our operations team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless meal periods.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting, and possess a strong passion for delivering high-quality food and beverages. They will also be an effective communicator and leader, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading a team of baristas and food service staff to achieve high standards in food quality, safety and presentation.
  • Preparing online orders by class group for each meal period, ensuring timely delivery and accurate billing.
  • Stock control and ordering, including maintaining inventory levels and managing supplies.
  • Operating point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Engaging with junior students, staff, and parents alike to build relationships and promote our services.
  • Conducting general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and allergen management regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen management practices.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one.
