Transformative Business and Data Analysts are sought after to collaborate with key stakeholders across Australia in the development of strategic data assets and innovative solutions.

The selected candidates will work closely with business users to author high-quality technical requirements that align with the target architecture and drive business outcomes. A trusted voice for the team, they will facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that may arise.

  • Develop a comprehensive framework to trace project deliverables to agreed-upon business outcomes through clear and concise technical requirements.
  • Elicit and document business and technical requirements to support organisational strategy and goals related to the Data & Analytics transformation program.
  • Analyse and document business processes and data flows to provide context to business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure relevant teams are involved in the development of business and technical requirements.
  • Review and provide feedback on design documents to ensure alignment with expected business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise leading hands-on technical requirement development and stakeholder validation in large-scale business data and analytics projects.
  • Experience implementing data products and services and accompanying data architecture, including data governance and security.
  • Proven skills documenting business processes and data flows to analyse and provide context to technical requirements.
  • Ability to collect, analyse and translate business data into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse projects, vendor teams and Agile frameworks.
  • Experience as a scrum master or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Python programming languages.
