Biomedical Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical devices used in healthcare settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, calibration, and maintenance of medical technology to ensure it operates within established parameters.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out acceptance testing and performance verification of medical equipment
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and repair of medical devices to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining accurate records of biomedical activities and documentation
  • Participating in an on-call roster and occasional overnight stays to provide support when required
