Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

A leading data centre company seeks an experienced legal professional to drive growth and expansion across the Asia Pacific region.


As Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in advising on new initiatives, strategies, and processes being developed across energy, utilities, renewables, and climate change. Your expertise will be sought by various teams and leadership across APJ to inform commercial arrangements and contractual frameworks.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong legal background, with at least 8 years of experience in energy, utilities, and renewables law. They will have excellent influencing, negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.


This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned lawyer to fast-track their career and amplify their impact in shaping the future of data centre development in the APJ region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate legal contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new or improve existing commercial arrangements and contractual frameworks.
  • Monitor emerging energy, renewables, and utility issues to drive awareness, compliance, and process improvements.

Requirements:

Law degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum 8 years of experience in energy, utilities, and renewables law.
Excellent influencing, negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.
