Job Description

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for performing inspections and maintenance tasks on mobile equipment and buildings.

You will work closely with the supervisor to identify and prioritize repairs and maintenance opportunities.

Additionally, you will provide technical advice to reduce systemic failures and repetitive repairs.

It is essential to ensure all machinery and equipment are isolated electronically before undertaking welding repairs.

Furthermore, you must obtain appropriate hot work permits before starting any hot works outside of dedicated hot work areas.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to work well within a small team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Physically fit and strong enough to undertake engineering duties
  • Self-starter, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various people
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
