About The Salvation Army, we're looking for a Logistics Supervisor to lead our Transport and Distribution team. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in the Not For Profit sector.

We oversee the efficient collection, receiving, sorting, storage, and distribution of all stock and orders at our warehouse and Stores.

The successful candidate will manage a team of 30, overseeing daily activity and performance, and ensure Warehouse and Distribution Facility operations run smoothly. This includes managing stock control, waste disposal, maintenance, security, open/close procedures, coordinating transport fleet and forklift maintenance, and leading WHS compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supervising the day-to-day activity and performance of a team of 30;
  • Managing warehouse and distribution facility including stock control, waste disposal maintenance, security, open/close; and, coordinating transport fleet and forklift maintenance and servicing;
  • Leading WHS compliance;

We require a valid Australian Driver's Licence, truck (MR) or forklift licence, and demonstrated experience in a Transport and Distribution Supervision role.
