Job Summary: Tradewind Australia is seeking an experienced Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator to lead an OSHC program in a Montessori setting in North Sydney for children aged 3-6 years old.

About the Role: As an OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff supervision, child safety, movement between campuses, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement of an ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood
  • Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC Provision
  • Senior First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training
  • Food Safety Certification, or willingness to complete relevant training
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)
