Pharmacy Assistant Job Description

About the Role

  • This permanent part-time or casual position involves working a rotating roster with afternoon and evening shifts.
  • You will work closely with experienced pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and support teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in pharmacy or retail is preferred.
  • Certificate II in Community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualifications are considered an asset.
  • You must be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and have proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
