**Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist**

This is a permanent full-time position for an experienced Family Medicine Specialist to work in rural Queensland.

About Our Practice

  • Our practice offers a range of services, including immunisations, general medicine, mental health, minor injuries, and chronic disease management.

The successful candidate will be supported by a full-time nursing team and administration staff. They will work in a modern, well-equipped facility and enjoy a great work-life balance in our beautiful tropical region.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients, including paediatric, youth, adult, and aged care health.
  2. Conduct routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
  3. Manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes and asthma, and provide preventive health checks.
  4. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care.

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Degree in General Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Current Practitioner Indemnity Insurance.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
