We are seeking a skilled Travel Sales Consultant to craft exceptional travel experiences for our valued customers.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for travel and a talent for delivering outstanding customer service.
About the OpportunityYou will utilise your extensive knowledge of global destinations, cultures, and travel products to create bespoke itineraries that exceed our customers' expectations.
- Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and experiences to enhance our customers' travel experiences.
- Build strong relationships with customers through face-to-face and online interactions, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations.
- Facilitate seamless domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers using Amadeus GDS.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling and up-selling travel products to increase revenue.
- Manage travel credits, refunds, and changes efficiently.
- Attend sales meetings and meet targets and KPIs to drive business growth.
- Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferably.
- GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience.
- Excellent organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets, and work productively.
