Job Description

As a Casual Production Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, sorting and trimming fruit by hand, operating manual and automatic machinery, lifting, pushing and pulling product in containers, pallets or bins, cleaning machinery by hand or pressure hose using food grade cleaning agents, and performing laboratory and quality control work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting and preparing fruit for processing
  • Operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production
  • Lifting and moving heavy objects in a fast-paced environment
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment to maintain high food safety standards
  • Participating in quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards

This role requires standing for long periods of time and completing repetitive tasks. You must also participate in the recruitment and selection process, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide evidence of your right to work in Australia.
