Job Overview

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for managing the Country Fire Authority (CFA) transport fleet, ensuring its efficient operation and compliance with relevant policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contract logistics with external fleet providers
  • Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on transport fleet matters/li>
  • Interpret and apply relevant policies, including Victorian State Government Vehicle Policy/li>
  • Develop and maintain fleet business rules, processes and systems/li>
  • Support regional and district fleet focal points with best practice guidance/li>
  • Maintain fleet databases and manage vehicle registrations and fuel cards/li>
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to work independently and proactively/li>
  • Experience in fleet management, particularly with Victorian State Government Vehicle Policy and VicRoads systems is desirable but not essential/li>
  • Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills, with sound commercial and business acumen/li>
  • Proven experience in document control and managing contracts, including high-value agreements/li>
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel/li>
