Paving Technician/Level Hand Hobart TAS

Aptella PaveSmart is a leading provider of surveying and paving services to major infrastructure projects across Australasia and the USA.
Our experienced survey consultancy teams offer complete control of asphalt surfacing projects, removing risk and ensuring success.
As a Paving and Leveling Technician, you will utilize proprietary PaveSmart Technology and level control systems to assist in material laying and provide clients with a service that meets depth level requirements, contract level tolerances, and smoothness requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with site supervisors and engineering staff on a daily basis.
- Communicate regularly with plant operators and site staff to ensure level controls are maintained.
- Operate asphalt paving machines using the PaveSmart system.
- Install control networks.
Requirements:
- Current Driver Licence
- Construction Induction Card
- RII and/or VOCs Nice to Have
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, and away work as needed
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
