Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality speech pathology services to participants with varying needs and goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to share expertise, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to meaningful outcomes in the community.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities, manage a varied caseload, and maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver Speech Pathology services to participants in schools, homes, and the local community
  • Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based interventions that help participants achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Support graduate and early career speech pathologists through clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development
  • Maintain a collaborative and supportive environment to promote high-quality clinical outcomes

Requirements
  • Current registration as a Speech Pathologist
  • Experience beyond graduation (3 years minimum)
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership capability
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
