Key Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the position of Support Services Manager at our hospitals. This role involves providing exceptional workforce and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and commercial performance through our food services and environmental services teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations, including supervising catering, cleaning patient rooms and public areas, laundry services, rostering, staffing and supervision of teams. Additionally, they will need to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards, maintain policies, procedures and safe work practices, and meet safety, service, quality, financial and other organisational targets.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record of leadership and management in a similar operational role
  • Proven ability to improve budget performance and deliver business efficiencies
  • Successful experience with delivering accreditation and compliance requirements
  • A strong patient-centric mindset
  • Ability to manage rostering and team management
  • Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
  • Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
  • Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare environments
  • Qualifications or experience in hotel operations and/or management
