Job Title: Maintenance Technician
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to become an integral part of our hotel's operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling maintenance requests, performing essential handyman duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day maintenance across the hotel.
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines.
- Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio) safely and securely.
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
General handyman skills; trade qualifications are preferred; recent graduates with training opportunities welcome.
Previous experience in a large-scale hotel Engineering department is advantageous.
Organized with strong planning, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure with a "Can Do" attitude and high energy levels.
