Economic Director

We are seeking an experienced Economic Director to lead and direct our team of economists in providing economic advisory services.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with expertise in cost benefit analysis, a strong understanding of infrastructure projects, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, quality assurance, and client engagement. They will also develop and lead excel models, including cost benefit analysis, and contribute to libraries of resources on best practice methodologies and proposal material.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead engagements providing economic advice to clients, including acting as the main client contact and project management of teams of economists.
- Manage budgets and quality assurance of all deliverables, including reviewing models and reports.
- Develop and lead excel models, including cost benefit analysis.
- Maintain internal and external networks of potential clients and complementary offerings.
- Contribute to libraries of resources on best practice methodologies and proposal material.
- Be a mentor to other members of the economics team.
- Lead the identification, development, and conversion of opportunities for future work.
