About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing instructional leader to enhance our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will excel in coaching, engaging community stakeholders, and facilitating pre-prep transitions by building relationships with ECECs.

  • Instructional Leadership: Lead collaborative problem-solving and teacher development, especially for early-career educators, while tracking student progress.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan by working with cohort and curriculum leaders to focus on age-appropriate pedagogies.
  • Community Engagement: Foster family involvement in their child's learning, ensuring safety, respect, and belonging within the school community.
  • Visibility and Operations: Be present in classrooms, managing daily operations, student behaviour, and key school events.
  • Change Management: Spearhead PBL initiatives and manage educational change effectively.
  • Inclusion: Understand NCCD and NDIS to support compliance and student needs.

The successful applicant will have experience in early childhood education and instructional leadership, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and have a proven ability to lead teams and foster professional growth. A mandatory requirement of this role is current full registration or provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
