The role of Underground Mine Geologist presents a rare opportunity to be part of a complex underground gold operation in Western Australia. As a member of our geology team, you will contribute to the development of the mine plan, working closely with the Senior Mine Geologist to ensure the successful execution of tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Grade Control: Delivering accurate grade control data to meet production schedules.
  • Ore Definition: Utilizing geological expertise to define ore reserves and support operational goals.
  • Ore Production: Collaborating with the mining team to optimize ore production processes.
  • Material Tracking and Reconciliation: Managing material tracking and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology, along with 2+ years of experience in mine geology. You must be comfortable working in underground environments and demonstrate a strong sense of safety awareness. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this position.
