Steward Supervisor

Job Opportunity

Delaware North is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steward Supervisor to join our team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. As a Steward Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team to maintain exceptional cleaning standards and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train team members to ensure they are up to date with banquet events and kitchen requirements.
• Undertake deep cleaning of kitchens and quality control team tasks.
• Roster team members effectively to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and review performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
• Ensure hygiene and work health and safety requirements are appropriately adhered to.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role and environment.
• Understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, chemical handling, food safety, hazard analysis and critical control points, and work health and safety requirements.
• Good skills in presentation, written, and verbal communication, with fluency in English.
• Ability to work a 7-day roster including morning and evening shifts, public holidays, and weekends.
