Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steward Supervisor to join our team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. As a Steward Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our dedicated and energetic back-of-house team to maintain exceptional cleaning standards of all food and beverage production areas and outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake deep cleaning of kitchens and quality control team tasks
• Supervise, train, and guide team members, ensuring all are up to date with banquet events and kitchen requirements, providing exceptional standards for guests
• Roster team members effectively to meet business requirements
• Monitor and review performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed
• Ensure hygiene and work health and safety requirements are appropriately adhered to

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role and environment
• Understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, chemical handling, food safety, hazard analysis and critical control points, and work health and safety requirements
• Good skills in presentation, written, and verbal communication, with fluency in English
• Ability to work a 7-day roster including morning and evening shifts, public holidays, and weekends
