About our Boilermaker Role:

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and projects.

Your responsibilities will include planning and executing service events, conducting daily pre-operational checks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety processes.

Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with breakdown work, performing general preventative maintenance, and participating in safety inspections to identify areas for improvement.

You will also play a key role in coaching and mentoring apprentices, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.

We are looking for someone who is safety-focused, solution-oriented, and has a continuous improvement mindset. You will be required to hold trade qualifications as a welder/boilermaker or Certificate III in heavy fabrication.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in light to heavy fabrication, interpreting engineering drawings, and operating high-risk equipment such as forklifts and elevated work platforms.

Key Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Trade qualified - Welder / Boilermaker or Certificate III in heavy fabrication
  • Light to heavy fabrication skills
  • Ability to interpret and read engineering drawings
  • High risk forklift licence
  • Ability to weld with the following: MMA, GMAW, FCAW, Air Arc Gouging, Oxy Cutting, gouging
  • Elevated work platform license, working at heights and dogging are highly regarded
