Heavy Fabrication Technician RoleWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Fabrication Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture and repair of aluminium and steel semi tippers, trailers, and chassis.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manufacturing and repairing components using a variety of materials and techniques
  • Setting up and operating hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment
  • Implementing production plans to complete tasks allocated by the Production Manager
  • Repairing van bodies, sheet metal work, and chassis
  • Using safety equipment and safe work habits at all times
You will be working in a state-of-the-art workshop with access to the latest technology and equipment. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Trade qualification in fabrication or a related field
  • Ability to weld thick steel
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in the usage and maintenance of tools
