Health and Safety Specialist

This role requires a professional who can effectively coordinate Unitywater's health monitoring program, ensuring it is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

The specialist will work closely with the management teams to educate team members about health monitoring requirements and responsibilities. They will also be responsible for reviewing and maintaining health monitoring records in both Unitywater and health partner systems.

Additionally, the specialist will prepare reports, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement within the health monitoring program.

This role is perfect for someone with a tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or exercise physiology. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and executing successful health initiatives that drive performance improvements.

As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will have strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes. You will also demonstrate financial management experience and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Unitywater's health monitoring program
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Review and maintain health monitoring records
  • Prepare reports and analyze trends

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or exercise physiology
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful health initiatives
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Financial management experience
  • Excellent time management skills
